Hi Jacqueline! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
It sounds as if you're getting ready to plan your summer fun at Disneyland Resort, and you're right to be on top of things since summer and the
4th of July celebrations are very popular with Guests for good reason!
All Guests require both a valid admission
ticket and a
theme park reservation for park entry. You'll have to wait until the reservation window opens to purchase and select California Adventure Park subject to availability. You'll either be selecting California Adventure Park for the entire day or as your starting park if you select the
Park Hopper ticket option. Check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar up to 120 days in advance to see if your park of choice is available on your chosen day. I'd suggest making a reminder on your mobile device to book when the 120-day window opens if it's really important to you to reserve a specific park.
One of my favorite family trips was during the 4th of July! I packed patriotic accessories for us all to wear, we did
Disney Resort Hotel pool time in the afternoon, and we sported glow bracelets and necklaces at night. Be sure to check out the
Disney Park Blog for updates on what festive treats and entertainment you can expect while you're visiting. It'll help you plan, so you don't miss any must-dos!
