Ahoy there, Stephanie!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’re already setting sail on one of my favorite parts of cruise prep—planning those outfits for theme nights! Getting ready for theme nights is like preparing for Rapunzel’s lantern festival—you’ll want just the right touches so the evening feels extra magical when it finally arrives.
Now, I wasn’t able to find a Wish sailing with the dates you listed, but I did see
a Treasure itinerary that matches perfectly. So let’s chart our course with those theme nights in mind. If by chance I steered toward the wrong ship, no worries—just come back and I’ll happily help get you pointed in the right direction.
As always, double-check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard for the most up-to-date schedule since entertainment is subject to change. But as of now, here’s the treasure map of your theme nights:
• Day 2 (At Sea) –
Formal Night: A perfect excuse to channel your inner Prince or Princess. Whether it’s ballgowns fit for Belle or sharp suits that would make James P. Sullivan proud, this night is all about sparkle.
• Day 4 (George Town) –
Pirate Night: Hoist the Jolly Roger and let your inner Captain Jack—or Captain Hook—shine. From bandanas to boots, there’s no wrong way to swashbuckle. And don’t miss the fireworks at sea (weather permitting)—one of the most magical “yo-ho” moments onboard.
• Day 6 (At Sea) – Semi-formal Night: Another chance to shine without going full royal ball. Think of it as Lumière’s “Be Our Guest” dress code—polished, but still fun.
Of course, theme nights are completely optional. On every sailing, you’ll see the full spectrum: Guests who go all out in tuxes and tiaras, others in cruise casual, and plenty who go the middle route with fun matching shirts or DisneyBounding outfits. My family likes to mix it up—sometimes we’re Pirates of the Caribbean, sometimes we’re just pirates of the buffet line!
I hope this helps you
pack with a little more pixie dust and a lot less stress. Before you know it, you’ll be stepping into the Grand Hall, hearing that first magical announcement, and feeling like you’ve just sailed into your very own Disney story.
Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
Dustin
