Hi, Susanne!
This is a great question. After lots and lots of walking, it certainly is nice to take a break and sit down for a while. You will find that most attractions and shows have proper seating. You can always ask a cast member before entering a queue what you can expect as far as standing, waiting, and any other questions you may have about it.
With parades, you can sit on the sidewalk or curb, or try to find a bench. Benches are generally set back from where the parade will pass by so you might not see as well but it is nice to be out of the crowds. The
Move It, Shake It, Dance & Play It Street Party, travels up Main Street USA, stopping in front of
Cinderella Castle on the hub for a street dance party. It then travels back down Main Street USA where it exits near the fire station. To get the most from this celebration, stand around the hub and make sure to jump into the fun with your best dance moves!
Most attractions will have seating. However, you may have to stand for the pre-show. These pre-shows can last up to about 5-7 minutes. You will have to remain standing, as the cast members do not want anyone getting stepped on as other guests arrive. Some attractions with standing room only pre-shows include MuppetVision 3-D, Dinosaur, Monsters Laugh Floor, and Rock n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith.
Always feel free to ask a cast member where a good viewing location will be if
watching fireworks, projection shows, or other "high in the sky" entertainment. They will be happy to point you to a great location. Have fun!
Cathy
