Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy! I recently stayed in a refurbished room at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort and was pleasantly surprised at the ample storage space in the sleek and modern new rooms!
I have a big Minnie suitcase from American Tourister which measures 31.0" x 19.0" x 11.0”. I’m very happy to say that I was able to slide the suitcase laying down under the bed with a good amount of clearance (no shoving or scraping or anything). The platform bed as well as the murphy bed can stow full size suitcases underneath without any problem, so I would think a bin 9-10” or shorter would do just fine. There is also a place for a small square rectangle bin on top of the bookshelf as well as large ziplock bags and small bins in the bathroom. You’ll be shocked how much space there is for storage. I roomed with three other grown women, and we STILL had shelf space to spare after a 4 night stay! As far as the original style rooms go (which are slowly being renovated) there is less storage room with no room under the beds for anything. If it suits your delivery style, you could stuff a 28” spinner style suitcase with supplies and deliver it to your daughter, and she can store it under the bed in the refurbished rooms with ease. It would be much easier than a tote for you to carry, as well! Your daughter can request a refurbished room just like I did with
Online Resort Check-In before she departs on her vacation.
If I can help you or your family plan any more activities or give you insight to vacation planning, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me!
