Hello. Can you please tell me do rides close at all after Halloween for taking decorations down and putting Christmas ones up or do they all stay open during normal hours?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Clare. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a great day.

During the transition from Halloween Time to Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, some attractions may be closed temporarily for refurbishment. This allows for safety and maintenance to be done, as well as putting up decorations for the Holidays. Last year, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort began on November 13th; while the start date of this year's event has not been announced yet, I expect the timeline to be similar.

You can visit the Disneyland Resort website to check out scheduled refurbishments to help plan your days at the parks. At this time, the calendar is available through early October. I suggest checking back at a later time to see which attractions will be scheduled for refurbishment during your late October visit.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Clare. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to visit us on the Panel again.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
