Could you please tell me the quietest times to go between July and October and I am planning a holiday between those times for a friend but his partner get a bit anxious with very large crowds so can you suggest a time with low crowds? Thank you :D

    Hi Caroline,

You may find crowded pockets at the Walt Disney World resorts at any time of the year, but to find the smallest crowds overall, I'd suggest between mid-September and the first week in October. Historically, those are some of the lowest crowd levels. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit.

Families with children have just gotten settled back into school then, and fall school breaks haven't begun. The weather is still hot, but the summer heat and humidity is starting to wane a bit. And the parks are putting on their fall finery in anticipation of Halloween, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

To ease your friend's discomfort while you are in the parks, you can use the My Disney Experience app.on a smartphone or tablet to see where the wait times are the longest and help you gauge activity levels. That can help you avoid more congested areas.

I hope that's helpful. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
