Hi Ann!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is such a beautiful and unique place. Because the campsites and cabins are spread out over a very large area, there are actually internal buses that run throughout that will take you to the park bus stops. Using the internal bus followed by the park bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park would be the fastest way to get there via
Walt Disney World transportation. The internal buses usually begin running around 6:30 a.m. and the park buses begin running about an hour before park opening.
I'm not sure if you are at the Fort Wilderness cabins or the campsites. If you have a vehicle, driving to Animal Kingdom would most likely get you there faster than using the buses. Another option, if you need to get there super early, is to use a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft. There is also a new
Minnie Van Service that you can use to get around on Walt Disney World property that would work for you.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
