hello could you please tell me when it will be possible to make a booking for your 50th anniversary in 2021

Hello Victoria, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent planning question.

I am so excited to hear that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration. I can’t believe that in just a few years we will be celebrating the 50th birthday of Walt Disney World!

I always say that “it is never too early to begin planning your next Disney vacation.” I am sure there will be a lot of magical surprises in store for guests who will visit during, what I hope to be a year-long celebration. I did some research and discovered that, at the present time, you can book your stay at a Disney Resort Hotel 499 days prior to your check out date. So let’s say you were to actually visit the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 2021, and check out the following day. You would be able to book your room as early as May 21, 2020. If you plan to stay longer or check out later in the year, your booking date would be adjusted based on the last day you intend to check out. Keep in mind that policies may change, between now and the time you can make a reservation. Until then, I would suggest that you keep your ears open and tuned in to the Disney Parks Blog for updates on the upcoming Golden Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions while planning your celebration, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
