Welcome back to planDisney Heidi! I am glad that you are looking to take a vacation on Disney Cruise Line with your daughters. You will definitely make some core memories!
The minimum age for Guests to enjoy the adult-exclusive areas is
18 years of age. There are also lots of adult-exclusive activities that can be enjoyed at no cost as well. First, you each will need to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to have access to all onboard activities once you board the ship. Here are some ideas for you and your family:
- In the Nightclubs and Lounges, there will be activities catered to adults, such as live music, karaoke, comedy shows, and silent dance parties.
- There are adult arts & crafts sessions, so if you all need some time to be creative, there are usually times to make scrapbook pages and color.
- The Quiet Cove Pool is an adult-exclusive pool area. There is also a nearby whirlpool spa for use.
- While you do have to pay for specialty coffee and beverages in Cove Café, I have found it to be a nice place to read a book or magazine if you need some quiet time. You could stop by one of the drink stations to pick up a soda or water before you go in!
- There is no extra cost to use the fitness center either, but group classes do require a fee.
Not exclusive to adults, but just as fun, is going to see the latest movies in your ship's theatre. Guests are never too old to take pictures with their favorite characters! There will be
many opportunities to meet them, and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator will list the times and locations.
The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app also has a chat feature so that you and your family can communicate will on the ship. Heidi, I hope this gets you and your daughters excited about taking a graduation trip on Disney Cruise Line. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney. Me and my pals are happy to help!
Happy planning!
