Hi there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney!
The countdown is on! Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is coming up so very soon! I am sure you are deep into the planning process and finalizing some last minute details before your start making magic at the parks. Before you know it, you'll be frolicking around Fantasyland with a Mickey shaped treat, ready to embark on your next adventure!
Character dining at the Disneyland Resort is one of the most popular experiences with Guests of all ages. Whether you're waving to their royal highnesses at
Napa Rose's Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure or channeling your silliest self with Goofy and friends at
Goofy's Kitchen, there is just something magical about being in the presence of your favorite characters while you feast! For the safety of all Guests and Cast Members, character dining is currently still modified. Social distancing is required between Guests and the characters, though this still makes for great photo opportunities!
Nicole, I know you and your little ones are probably just bursting to give Mickey and Minnie a big hug. Trust me, so am I! Unfortunately, we have not yet been given a time frame of when to expect more personal, up-close character dining to return to Disneyland Resort. I will be keeping my ears crossed that it happens soon, but until then, I suggest keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog. This will be your go-to source for the most up-to-date information leading up to your stay!
If characters are what your heart desires, be sure to find the
Pixar Pals at Pixar Pier and
Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow! These are some of my favorite character meets and these unique options do provide you with some variety in your socially-distanced photo collection! There are many other
character experiences available at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, so you're sure to find some of your favorites!
Again, Nicole, I'll be wishing upon a star that character dining interactions return as soon as possible to add a little more magic to your stay!
Until next time,
Ashley
