Can you please tell me how I can find out the extra magic hours for Dec. 2-7, 2012? And also, can you reccommend some really magical experience for an eight year old girl, who doesn't care for rides?

    Hi Christi,

The park hours for December 2012 have not been released as of yet. The park calendars are generally available for the current month plus the following 6 months at any given time and I would expect the park hours for December to be available the first week of June 2012.

You can find them by following these steps:-

1/ Visit the Walt Disney World website
    2/ Click on PARKS
3/ Click on the park of your choice eg. Disney's Hollywood Studios
4/ Click on Calendar which should take you to THIS page
5/ Click on the current month and then select the month of your visit which in this case is December
6/ Click on the date of your first available day - 2 December 2012. You will then be able to see the opening hours of the park, Extra Magic Hours as well as details of any parades or nighttime shows which will be taking place on that particular day
7/ From here you can simply keep clicking on 'Next Day' to see the information for the remaining dates of your stay

There are many fantastic experiences available to your Daughter which don't involve rides. Why not book a character meal with the Disney Princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall or make an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where she can be magically transformed into a Princess herself.

You can then repeat the process for each of the other Disney Parks which you will be visiting.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
