could you please tell me when they finalize park hours, EMH and Fantasmic shows for March 2012? Trying to determine our ADR and want to make sure we know which parks are opened when. THanks@

Hi, Jennifer! You've identified one of the kinks in the planning process, but it's kind of fun to roll with this one.

Park hours usually come out no later than 180 days in advance. Until they come out, here's what I do:

I start by looking at how many days we have in Disney World and how often we'd like to visit each park. I then look at TouringPlans.com Crowd Calendar to figure out the best days to go to each park. Their recommendations are based on years of analyzing trends of park data, which often includes typical park hours and traffic year over year.

I then get the tentative plan in place and start syncing up our dining schedule.

Then, when Disney releases park hours, I look at my list to see if we're still in sync and I check the TouringPlans.com Crowd Calendar to see if the official information altered the site's recommendations at all. Lastly, check your dining plans to make sure they're in alignment with your park strategy and you'll be good to go in making your advance dining reservations 180 days in advance.
