Hi, Could you please tell me what to expect for crowds in the summer at HHI resort? We have also been told to wait until we arrive at the resort to book activities. This worries me that we wont get to do the activities that interest us most. Thank You.

Howdy Cheryl!  Thanks so much for your question.  I have not yet had a chance to visit Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort but it's on the list and researching your question was helpful for me.  Thank you!

I spoke to the front desk and found out some information that I hope you will find helpful.  The summer is their busiest time of year but busy for them pales in comparison to what we would consider busy when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

With 123 rooms, they are the smallest Disney Vacation Club Resort worldwide.  I was told that you might have a difficult time finding a spot by the pool but otherwise, you shouldn't have any issues with the crowd levels.

You can book some of the activities in advance but unlike the typical 180 days in advance that we are familiar with, I was told that you should be fine if you book your activities two weeks in advance as their excursions don't typically sell out.

I would encourage you to review all of the activities offered by the resort and contact them to ask what can be booked ahead of time.

I know you are going to enjoy your time in Hilton Head.  Please let me hear all about your vacation once you return.  Have a wonderful time!!
