Could you please tell me if there is a direct bus route from Port Orleans French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom direct - or does it also pick up at Port Orleans Riverside as well? Thanks!

Hello Karen!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When "heading down the Bayou" to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and French Quarter, the 2 sister Resorts share bus services to the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, 2 Disney Water Parks and Disney Springs.

However, Complimentary Resort Transportation is monitored by Cast Members and extra service is applied when required.  In my experience, Port Orleans - French Quarter often has a dedicated bus line direct to Magic Kingdom just before park opening in the morning and right after the Wishes Fireworks Spectacular at night.

The good news for Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter guests is that when the 2 resorts share bus service, the French Quarter Bus Depot is the first stop to and from the Magic Kingdom.

My favorite offering at Riverside is Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge, a Disney legend and not-to-be-missed entertainer.  At French Quarter, be sure to try the beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.

Remember to Check-In Online, book your Advanced Dining Reservations and book your FastPass++ Selections using your My Disney Experience account or the App on your mobile device.

    Have a Bayou-tiful Vacation!
