Please tell me how to get details for renting a National or Alamo car at the Dolphin. I would like to pick up there (staying at POR for MNSSHP), and return to MCO (will be off-site for a few days before flying home). Do I contact the car co. or Dolphin?

    Greetings to you, Ann!

Thanks so much for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm more than happy to help. I know you must be excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it will be here before you know it! You've picked a great time to visit with lots of special events going on like Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So I know you are going to have tons of fun on your magical vacation!

If you need to rent a car while staying at Walt Disney World Resort, you can pick one up at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort or the Car Care Center. This location is near the entrance to the Magic Kingdom Parking area and might be more convenient for you since you'll be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. You can even schedule a complimentary shuttle to pick you up at your resort hotel and drop you off at the Car Care Center. In order to reserve your rental car, just contact either Alamo Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental directly and let them know which location you would like to use for your pick up. And if you want to schedule the shuttle to get to the Car Care Center, just call (407) 824-3470 ext. 1 to make that reservation.

I hope this helps with your planning, Ann and please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else. Have a magical day and a magical stay!
