Hi there Talia,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort next month - how exciting! It'll be here before you know it.
I'm happy to hear you're considering applying for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) as a helpful resource during your visit. The Disneyland Resort is deeply committed to providing an accessible experience for Guests, which I've seen firsthand for members of my family who have required additional accommodations.
The
Accessibility page on the Disneyland Resort website was recently expanded to include helpful resources and guides for many different situations, and with that, it was announced that the Disability Access Service (DAS) has narrowed its focus to be a tool specifically for Guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.
If a member of your party would benefit from this, you can use the Request Live Chat button on the
DAS page as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit. The live chat feature is available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time and keep in mind the other items in the "Other important things to note" list just above the Request Live Chat button on this page.
Thanks again for your question, Talia! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
