Welcome to planDisney, Mat!
It sounds like you are planning a warm and sunny Florida holiday near
The Most Magical Place On Earth, so you need to scratch that itch with a one-day visit. I can’t blame you! My family and I did something similar when vacationing at a nearby beach earlier this year. We could smell Main Street U.S.A., Dole Whips, and popcorn, and we had to swing by!
Looking at the date you may visit, a 1 Park Per Day
Magic Kingdom Park ticket will cost $174.00 before tax for an adult and $169.00 before tax for a child ages 3-9. If you choose the Park Hopper Option, allowing you to visit multiple parks on the same day, the price increases from $174.00 to $238.00 before tax for an adult and from $169.00 to $233.00 before tax for a child. Please note that these prices are current as of this answer and are subject to change between now and your visit.
Since you plan on swinging in and out of the parks like Tarzan in the Jungle, have you entertained the thought of adding
Disney Genie+ to your ticket? Genie+ is an added cost based on the day of your visit and the park or parks you visit, and it gives you access to book Lightning Lanes to save time waiting in lines so you can enjoy more attractions or experiences. I’d also recommend looking at the
Enchanting Extras Collection to add something special to your trip, like a dessert party with the backdrop of a fireworks show.
If you have any additional questions, Mat,
let me know. I would happily share more Disney World planning tips, tricks, and recommendations to make your short stay enjoyable!
