    Can you please tell me if the California Grill is taking reservations yet for this fall? Or are they already booked? I am asking because several people on Disney Blogs say they have reservations for the fall but when I call to make reservations I am told t

    Hi, Kathie!

    I was actually trying to get a reservation yesterday at the California Grill during our trip in the fall as well! When I spoke to a Cast Member at Disney Dining, I was told that the restaurant is closed for enhancements and there has been no announcement yet of the date it will re-open. For that reason, they are not accepting Advanced Dining Reservations at this time.

    I've seen lots of things mentioned online about fall reservations, but I don't believe any of that unless it comes directly from the source. Here is the official word from Disney on what's going on:

    "As part of our continuing efforts to exceed the expectations of our Guests, California Grill is currently closed for enhancements. Please check back here for the latest updates and information about when it will reopen."

    I'm getting impatient too, but I'm quite certain that there is lots of magic going on in this beautiful restaurant right now and we're sure to be thrilled with the results! Keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements as well.
