Hi there, Gyongyi Nikoletta! Welcome back to planDisney!
I’m happy to help you with your question about the
Coronado Springs Resort. This moderate resort is full of charm and beautiful themed decor, and I especially love the Mayan-themed Lost City of Cibola Pool. I'd even go as far as to say it's one of the best pools at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
Coronado Springs Resort is organized into different areas. There is the main hotel lobby and restaurants, called “El Centro,” Gran Destino Tower, The Dig Site (the pool), and the convention center. The hotel buildings around the lake are organized into villages called Casitas, Cabanas, and Ranchos. The buildings with water views include:
Casitas
-Building 3
-Building 4
-Building 5
Cabanas
-Building 8A
-Building 8B
-Building 8C
Ranchos
-Building 6A
-Building 6B
-Building 7B
I was able to stay in the Gran Destino Tower—which also offers water view rooms—the last time I visited at Coronado Springs Resort and had a spectacular time. I would highly recommend making a reservation at
Toledo or stopping by the
Dahlia Lounge, both of which are located at the top of the tower. The only thing more stunning than the view is the food and drink.
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, located in the middle of Lake Dorado, is also a great spot if you’re looking for something more casual.
Gyongyi Nikoletta, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
