Could you please tell me, which buildings at Pop Century currently have standard rooms vs. preferred rooms? Are there any standard rooms

Hiya, Kristen! Thanks for POPping by planDisney with your question!

Your Disney World vacation is only a couple of months away! Before you know it, you’ll be digging the groovy accommodations at Pop Century Resort. Pop Century is a favorite value resort for me and my family. We’ve always loved the decor and budget-friendly cost, and the addition of the Skyliner route to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT has made it that much better.

Preferred rooms at Pop Century are located in buildings 1 and 3 of the 50’s section, buildings 4 and 5 in the 60s area, and buildings 6 and 10 in the 70s zone. They are designated as “preferred” due to their proximity to Classic Hall (the hotel’s main building), dining, the Hippy Dippy Pool, and transportation. Standard rooms are located a little further from these amenities. They include building 2 in the 50s area, buildings 7 and 9 in the 80s section, and building 8 in the 90s section. You can find a map of the entire resort here

If you have a particular area of the resort in mind, you can make a room request through the My Disney Experience mobile app, call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, or talk to a friendly Cast Member at check-in. Requests are subject to availability and not guaranteed, but it’s always a good idea to ask!

Kristen, I hope you have a tubular time at Disney World and a far out stay at Pop Century Resort. Come back to planDisney if you have any other radical questions. We’re happy to help make your vacation is the bee’s knees.

Catch you on the flip side!
