Hi Josh,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question!
We often like to travel with friends and our extended family, so we are always on the lookout for blocks of adjoining or even connecting rooms when we plan a
Disney Cruise Line voyage. The best way to book is to
Find the sailing that interests you, and then you click on “View Staterooms.” Then, you’ll get taken to a page where you can confirm your Travel Party, which will allow you to add up to 4 staterooms to your reservation.
Once you’ve selected the appropriate number of adults and children who will be in each stateroom, you’ll be able to click on Confirm Travel Party, which will then take you to a page that will ask you to select your stateroom type. Pick the category that interests you and then you’ll eventually get to the screen that will allow you to select your staterooms’ Location & Deck on the ship. Click on each location, and the rooms that are highlighted in blue are the ones that are still available for your sailing. You can then pick your staterooms’ location, and even opt for connected rooms (just look for the little broken line between those rooms) or opt for rooms that are next door to each other but that don’t connect (also known as adjoining rooms.)
I’d encourage you to look up various category types to get a good sense of what your options may be. In my experience, I’ve had better luck finding connecting or adjoining Veranda staterooms than for other categories. Also, the earlier that you book your cruise, the more options you’ll have. Finally, you can also look at the ships'
Deck Plans (before you pick a sailing) to get a sense of which sections and decks may appeal to you and your party.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect staterooms for your journey! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
