Hi Staci,
Thank you for visiting us today at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. Looks like you'll be enjoying the last days of
Spring at Walt Disney World Resort.
Last fall I had the opportunity to take the
Backstage Magic tour with a group of close friends. And, oh my gosh, it was AMAZING! The day started nice and early at the entrance of Epcot where we boarded our magical transport that took us around areas which are typically kept off limits from Guests. First we learned about
The American Adventure with an incredible behind the scenes tour, learning about the technology behind the show, it's costumes and Animatronics. But the tour continued to other areas like Central Shops, Creative Costuming and more, with a stop for a delicious and rowdy lunch at
Whispering Canyon Cafe. We continued to other areas, and finally got to visit Magic Kingdom Park's best kept secret: the famous "utilidor" tunnels, before being taken back to Epcot's entrance. The experience and locations visited are subject to change, but should still pick you up and drop you off at the same location, in any case. It is a perfect experience for a no-parks day, since it does not require a Theme Park Ticket. It was truly a day that will be long remembered.
One last tip: be sure to keep your
My Disney Experience mobile app up to date, which will help you make or change any dining reservations quickly and easily.
Ricardo.
