Moms, please talk me off the ledge! After 1 year of planning it looks as of now that it will be raining almost our entire time at WDW! So disappointed. Looking for the silver lining :) We are in the area 2/17-2/25.

    Hi Kristin!

Oh please come in off the ledge! There's no need to despair - really! =)
Weather reports are daunting things - and so unpredictable. Don't let some rain icons on the weather webpage bring you down. There IS a bright, silver lining awaiting you, and it's called WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!

No matter which way you look at it, you are going to have an amazingly, magical time and create memories to last your family an entire lifetime! I was at Walt Disney World just last year at precisely the same time of year you are going and we didn't see a single drop of rain in the entire visit!

Even if it rains, there is still PLENTY of magic to be found, you can be assured of this.
Given that The Happiest Place On Earth is located smack, dab in the middle of one of the most humid places around, those amazing Disney Imagineers took this into account with all their planning. You'll find that there are MANY indoor attractions to enjoy in all of the parks & only short distances getting from one to the next. We actually find it fun to put on those bright yellow, Mickey Rain Ponchos & stomp through a puddle or two with wet flip flops, humming a happy Disney tune along the way!

I've been to WDW in every sort of weather extreme imaginable ... and honestly - I hold every single visit just as high in my memories of fun, family times!

You are absolutely going to have an amazing time even if some sprinkles occur.
That silver lining is shining so brightly, so please promise me that you're coming back in off that ledge.
With your countdown to vacation such a few days away, you should be all smiles & excitement now!

You'll have a MAGICAL time at Walt Disney World Kristin and your year of planning & waiting will not have been in vain! Enjoy every moment of the Magic, rain or shine!
