    Hello, please suggest a schedule to visit the parks and dine - 4 Adults, 3 children, age 12,11,6. Arriving for 4 days, Aug 4th and depart at end of day on Aug 7th. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside, with the Dining Plan, but NO Park Hopper. Thx

    Hi Darlene!

    Sounds like you have a world wind vacation just around the corner!  Here are some tips that I use to plan my Disney vacations:

    Avoid Extra Magic Hours-sometimes it is nice to hop over once another park closes, but since you will not park hoppers I recommend avoiding any park is having extra magic hours.

    Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are usually are first and last day parks to visit.  These parks usually do not require a full day of touring, leaving you time to unpack or pack.

    Based on some of those rules, here is my suggestion for you possible itinerary:

    August 4th Hollywood Studios 9am-10pm
    August 5th Epcot  9am-9pm
    August 6th Magic Kingdom 9am-11pm
    August 7th Animal Kingdom 8am-8pm (Animal Kingdom is having Extra Magic Morning Hours, but based on your time frame this will be hard to avoid)

    Once I have decided on what parks on what days, I immediately begin to make dining reservations.  I highly recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible because many restaurants are booked months in advance or almost impossible to get a reservation for unless you call exactly 180 days in advance.  I try to plan restaurants near whatever park we happen to be visiting on that particular day. 

    Magic Kingdom- Crystal Palace (character buffet), Chef Mickey's, Be Our Guest, Ohana
    Epcot- Rose and Crown, Biergarten, Via Napoli
    Hollywood Studios- 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
    Animal Kingdom- Boma, Tusker House, Yak and Yeti
