Could you please send me information on visiting Disney in February 2021? We will have a 2 and 4 year old with us. We want to know about buying tickets and making reservations ahead of time.

Welcome to planDisney, Susanne! I'm so glad to hear that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort early next year. I'm happy to help you kick off your vacation planning today and there is a lot to cover, so let's jump right in!

The very first step in booking your vacation is to pick your Resort Hotel. There are places to fit every budget and every size of family, so start by taking a look at each of them and figuring out which one is best for you. I love Disney's Pop Century Resort for its proximity to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios on the Disney Skyliner, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or Disney's Contemporary Resort are both great choices if you're planning on spending lots of time at Magic Kingdom Park because they're both within walking distance!

Once you've picked your Resort Hotel, it's time to book your vacation package. When you book online, putting your vacation package together is a really easy step-by-step process where you'll get to pick your vacation dates and bundle your tickets together with your room booking. Children under the age of three are considered special guests of Mickey Mouse and do not need a ticket, so keep that in mind when you're making your booking!

Once you have booked your vacation package, your tickets will be assigned to your My Disney Experience account and you'll be prompted to make Disney Park Pass reservations. This is when you'll decide which Theme Park you want to visit on each day of your trip. If you're not ready to decide right now, that's fine! You can make your Disney Park Pass reservations at any time before your visit but, like most things, the earlier the better. These reservations are flexible, so you're welcome to modify them at any time if you want to change your plans.

There are some more things that you can do when you're planning your vacation, like reserving your spots for Disney's Magical Express or booking your advanced dining reservations for Table-Service restaurants, and we're more than happy to help you with all of those things as well. Let us know if you would like us to recommend our favorite restaurants for preschoolers, help you prioritize attractions that are best for the little ones, or anything else in between!

    Have a magical day, Susanne!
