Greetings Miguel, and welcome to planDisney!
You must be so excited that your visit is right around the corner, and I'd be happy to chat about some online and paper resources you can take a look at to prepare for your vacation.
Unfortunately, Walt Disney World no longer sends out planning resources in the mail, but I certainly understand wanting non-electronic options. I have two little Mouseketeers who love looking at books (especially with pictures!) as we count down to our trips. We like Birnbaum's Walt Disney World: The Official Vacation Guide, a classic paperback available at retailers and possibly your library. You'll likely find several guidebooks if you browse your local bookstore or library, but keep in mind some information might be outdated, and
certain offerings may not be available due to the current public health situation.
For the best, most up-to-date information, you'll want to use the
Walt Disney World website, and I'm going to share some links I hope you'll find useful.
First, this
Ticket & Visit Guide offers comprehensive planning information for all four theme parks and provides a list of suggested experiences for all types of visitors, from Thrill-Seekers to Food Lovers. It's a great place to start!
If you have any junior Mouseketeers in your group, check out
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones, and if you want to focus on the "young at heart" members of your party, I suggest looking at
Fun for Adults at Walt Disney World Resort.
Finally, the
Panel Extras section of
planDisney offers some really great advice about specific topics. You'll find tips for everything from
packing to
souvenirs. This section also features
vacation planning tools suggested by my fellow panelists. I know you'll find plenty of helpful resources here!
I hope this gives you some ideas of how to find comprehensive planning information, Miguel. As your vacation approaches, be sure to also follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
official social media accounts to stay current with theme park news as well as new offerings coming on board during
this exciting year. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
