Hey there, hi there, ho there, Nadine, and welcome to planDisney. It is wonderful to see another kosher east coaster traveling to the "Happiest Place on Earth" for some Mickey Mouse magic. My family spends a lot of time researching
Disney Kosher meal options at destinations both on land and at sea. There is a lot of information to digest (no pun intended) so let's dig in.
Currently, Borenstein Caterer, Inc. out of Jamaica, NY, is the current kosher meal provider under the supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (OU) for both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. All dairy is Cholov Yisroel and all breads are Pas Yisroel. Meals are steamed, double-wrapped airplane-style typically including a protein, a starch, and a vegetable. Dining utensils will also be provided.
Kosher dining at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure is available at both table service and quick service locations. Table Service is more formal while Quick Service is similar to a fast food restaurant. The meal options vary daily and by dining location depending on availability so what was acquired on Day 1 of your trip may not be available on Day 2. There is no set menu, however, when you arrive at each restaurant they will tell you what they are able to serve you.
For Quick Service dining location, all you have to do is enter the restaurant and order from the counter. They will check with the chef to see what is available and let you know. If you want more details they usually have a binder containing pictures or dietary and hechsher information of the possible options. These meals may take up to 20 minutes to prepare.
For Table Service locations I recommend you make advance dining reservations 60 days in advance and then email Special Diets (Special.Diets@Disneyland.com) no earlier than 30 days prior to your visit. Your email should include your name, the theme parks you plan to visit, the dining location, and on what day, as well as your desired food. Around 3-5 days prior to your visit, call Disney Dining Reservations (714-781-4636) to see if they know specifically what meals are available for your reservation. The reality of kosher options is that you will know for sure what meal options are at the restaurant when you sit down to order.
Please take a look at the current
Disney kosher meal options (subject to daily availability by meal type and by location) and below is a list of restaurants (TS - Table Service; QS - Quick Service) where you will enjoy kosher meals.
Disneyland Park- Blue Bayou Restaurant -TS
- Cafe Orleans - TS
- Red Rose Taverne - QS
Disney California Adventure Park- Smokejumpers Grill - QS
- Wine Country Trattoria - TS
Disney's Grand California Resort & Spa- Napa Rose - TS

In addition to kosher meals, you will find plenty of
Disney kosher snacks, and depending on how machmir you are there may be many more. As always, when in doubt... ask to see the packaging.
Nadine, I hope this information helps you have the best Disney adventure and not worry about food. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
