Hi Jenny,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for birthday celebrations! Going to the Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate is, of course, the BEST PRESENT EVER!
There are lots of fun ways to celebrate while you are there. I like to say there is a Jedi path or a Princess path to follow. Our girls do both. If you have a little one who seeks to protect the galaxy, plan a Star Wars day that begins with
Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Then fly through the galaxy on Star Tours - The Adventures Continue and visit with her favorite characters at Star Wars Launch Bay. When our girls prefer to princess through the parks, they put on their royal attire and stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. Along the way, cast members love to greet them by saying "Hello princess!" We stop by Princess Fairytale Hall to visit with Rapunzel and Tiana and then we dine at Cinderella's Royal Table.
Or, for an alternate princess experience, take her to Princess Storybook dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Then take a tour of Arendelle on Frozen Ever After and visit with
Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. Be sure to note her birthday celebration on your dining reservations. We have received birthday cards signed by the characters and mini cupcakes at several restaurants. Also, consider ordering one of the Mickey Mouse celebration
Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort.
Jenny, on our last visit, we also took our girls on the Caring for Giants tour to see the elephants in Disney's Animal Kingdom. They adore baby Stella!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
