Hey howdy hey, Lawrence, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with these questions to make sure every detail is squared away before you set sail this October.
Reaching out to a helpful Disney Cruise Line representative is always a smart first step when it comes to planning, especially for something as important as coordinating air and ground transportation. While there are a number of ways to contact a DCL Cast Member, including email and live chat (when available), I recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line directly so they can walk you through every option and help you think through all of those details.
Disney Cruise Line offers
convenient motorcoach shuttle service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Port Canaveral, as well as return service at the end of your sailing. Before you travel, you’ll also
receive luggage tags from Disney Cruise Line. On embarkation day, make sure you
place those tags on your checked bags so porters can deliver your luggage straight to your stateroom, leaving you free to step aboard with just your carry-on essentials.
As for your onboard experience, I highly recommend
purchasing a DisneyBand+ in advance. It’s one of the easiest ways to streamline your cruise from the moment you arrive at the port. The band acts as your key to the world: you can use it to check in, open your stateroom door, make onboard purchases, and even interact with fun lighting and haptics on select ships. It’s also waterproof and rechargeable, so you can keep it on while enjoying the pools, waterslides, and beaches without a worry.
With your travel details coordinated and your DisneyBand+ on your wrist, you’ll be ready to focus on the real magic of your vacation at sea with Disney Cruise Line. If more questions bubble up before you sail, I hope you’ll stop back by
planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
