Please provide info on make a sign at ft wilderness . We will be staying there this June. Thank you

    Hi there Karl!

Welcome to planDisney, and I'm so glad to answer any questions about artistic activities and all things creative during your upcoming visit at Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you're staying rough and rustic on the campgrounds or The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I always love how the selection of Sports and Recreation activities is just so unique to any other location, you might find yourself feeling truly immersed out in the wilderness!

Like the many activities on offer through the Enchanting Extras Collection found around many resorts, this is an activity that you're required to make a reservation and pay an additional fee for. During your stay, keep an eye out for posted signage for: Crockett's Craft Corner - Wood & Wine Workshop. You'll be guided through the process of painting and staining your own piece of artwork with a variety of stencils to choose and techniques to craft your sign. In my experience, even water-based stains do a really good job of living up to their name - so keep that in mind when choosing your attire for any potentially messy activity!

The friendly Guest Services Cast Member I spoke to at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort informed me that that this often takes place right by Pioneer Hall at Crockett's Tavern on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM, and typically finishes before they begin food service at 3:00 PM. Note that there is a minimum age requirement of 8 years old to participate, and while they do serve refreshments and light snacks, guests must be at least 21 years of age with valid government identification in order to consume any alcoholic beverages.

To sign up, you can contact 407-WDW-PLAY or visit the Bike Barn at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, where you'll also be able to book activities like the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure or the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience. As with any scheduled resort activity, the availability and timing can always be subject to change, so I definitely recommend inquiring early to make sure you reserve your spot!

I hope that this was useful and that you have a wonderful stay this June when you get a chance to paint yourself "The wildest sign in the wilderness!"

Here's to artistic adventures out there!
