Please please could you consider offering Canadians tickets at par? They are already so expensive in American $! Thank you!

    Hi Carly,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I’ll admit that I screamed out a big ‘ol “YES PLEASE” when I read your question. I totally remember the promotion that we had a few years ago where Theme Park Tickets were discounted for Canadian residents so that they were essentially priced “at par” for the Canadian dollar. That really was an awesome promotion, one that I know lots of my friends and my family were able to use for their visits to Walt Disney World Resort.

Unfortunately, I really don’t know whether any Special Offers will be released specifically for Canadian residents this year, or even for 2024. What I can recommend: keep checking the Special Offers page and the Disney Parks Blog over the next few months. If a promotion is released, it’s typically announced there first. In addition, the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket is actually a pretty great deal, for both Canadians and non-Canadians alike! Maybe that will help take a bit of the sting out of the exchange rate for you and your family…

I also find that purchasing Disney Gift Cards at home, from Canadian retailers, is also a great way to save for a Disney Parks vacation. You can purchase those cards in CAD and use them at almost any point of sale at Walt Disney World Resort. Although it doesn’t seem like much, using those gift cards has been a great way for me to have a bit of “cost certainty” in the face of fluctuating exchange rates.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. I also have a ton of tips and tricks for Canadians who are looking to get the most bang-for-their-Northern-buck when they visit the Disney Parks, so I’m always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
