Would you please name a few of the sit down table service meals included in the dinning plan that are quality meals, however are not considered signature restaurants. THX

    Hi Jennifer,

While many of the signature dining experiences are wonderful, there are several "quality" meals that you can get at Walt Disney World without breaking the bank or using up 2 table service credits.  The World Showcase at Epcot offers some great dining as do many of the resorts.  Some of my favorites include:

Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Although the food is served buffet style, you're in for a real treat.  Over 50 African Countries influence the cooking at this restaurant.  I've also heard many good things about Sanaa, the newest restaurant at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Sanaa serves African cuisine with Indian flavors.

    • Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.  The desserts here are works of art.
    • Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  We really enjoy the flatbread pizzas at this restaurant.
    • Le Cellier Steakhouse, Coral Reef Restaurant and Teppan Edo at Epcot are all good choices.  Many moms recommend Restaurant Marrakesh, although I've never eaten there, myself.
These are just a few favorites.  Also, don't underestimate the quality of food at some of the "FUN" restaurants: Biergarten, Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon Cafe are all restaurants that my family enjoys for both the food and to have a great time.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
