Hi Cassie,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited to see you planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Lucky for us, there is a wealth of information available online. So while we no longer mail information, there are ways that you can get print materials. I often print from the
Walt Disney World Resort website. My family appreciates printing park maps so we go to the link for Parks & Tickets, select a park, click on Map, and then click on the arrow beneath the map. From there you will see a printable map.
We have also checked out materials from our local library. While this material has been awesome, remember that it might not be the most up to date. In the past, we have also stopped by a local travel agency and picked up brochures. Keep in mind that brochures may come with a cost. I did, however, contact one of our local travel agencies and they said they had not received any print brochures in a year. So, call your local travel agencies to check.
I will add that a few years ago, we decided to become
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. We were able to access some print materials in that process and, we now receive a print copy of
Disney Files Magazine. They also have a
free DVD that we ordered when considering our options.
Cassie, as one who loves print materials, I hEAR you! I can, however, say, I have adjusted to accessing materials online and just printing a few items. And, for our girls, checking out a few books from the public library was a great way to prepare for our first visits!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
