Hi, would you please let me know if world of color will do closed for refurbishment in November 2025. We will be visiting the Resort thanksgiving week. Thank you for your assistance. Shelagh

    Hi Shelagh,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for continuing to trust us with your planning questions. World of Color is such an amazing show! In honor of the 70th Anniversary,  World of Color Happiness! will continue through the holiday season. The show features music from Turning Red, A Goofy Movie, and Encanto (some of my all-time Disney favorites)!

You will be happy to hear that World of Color is not scheduled for any refurbishment in November, so you should be good to go. The show typically takes place at 9:00 PM, but I recommend checking the daily schedule on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland app (up to 40 days in advance) to confirm showtimes and nighttime entertainment. Keep in mind that the schedule is subject to change, especially if the weather isn’t ideal.

To check the schedule using the Disneyland app:

    1) Tap the three bars on the bottom right,
    2) Scroll down to “Park Hours & Info,”
    3) Then scroll to “Closed for Refurbishment” for the latest updates.

To check using the Disneyland website:
    1) Switch to “Day View,”
    2) Select your desired date,
    3) Scroll down to Disneyland and California Adventure, then look for the “Closed for Refurbishment” section.

While you’re at California Adventure, be sure to check out the Festival of Holidays. This is a seasonal celebration filled with cultural traditions, food, and entertainment. You can purchase a Sip and Savor Pass to enjoy six different food or non-alcoholic drink items. For a sneak peek of what the festival has to offer, check out the Disney Parks Blog!

I hope this was helpful, Shelagh! Feel free to follow up if you have any more planning questions. I’d be happy to help. My fellow planDisney panelists and I are always here to add a little extra magic to your vacation planning.

    Have a magical vacation!
