Hi Diana! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the holiday season. With the parks and resorts decorated in holiday decor, exploring these areas will be a festive adventure.
Diana, the
parking lots at the Disney theme parks typically open about 60-90 minutes before the official park opening time. For parking at the Magic Kingdom, you'll need to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once here, you'll then hop on the
monorail or ferry to get to the entrance to the park. Each of these modes of transportation will begin operating approximately 30 minutes before the park opens, which includes Early Theme Park Entry. Since you are staying off-site, you'll have plenty of time to reach the front of the park in time for entry. The
ferry takes about 15-20 minutes to arrive at the Magic Kingdom, while the monorail can take even less. Each travels directly to your destination without any additional stops along the way.
For Guests parking at
EPCOT, you'll simply park in the lots outside of the entrance. There is no additional travel needed; you'll just walk to the front entrance and wait until the park opens. There is an EPCOT monorail that transfers Guests to and from the Ticket and Transportation Center. If you prefer to arrive at EPCOT in style, you may certainly park here and take the monorail to your destination. This also makes sense if you plan to park hop later in the day to the Magic Kingdom. When it's time to leave for the night, your car will already be parked at the Ticket and Transportation Center.
Diana, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Make sure to check out the updated
park hours before arriving. They will vary each day.
