Hello Beatrice!
I’m so glad you are finding planDisney a helpful tool for planning your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Keep sending those questions!
Since I just answered another of your questions I thought I would pop in with this answer as well. To register for a
Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, you will need to visit one of the Guest Relations locations or Guest Experience kiosks inside the theme parks. While there are Guest Relations windows outside the parks that open earlier, only those inside the parks are set up to assist with DAS.
The Guest Relations locations inside the parks will have the same hours as the theme parks themselves, and you can use the
Theme Park Hours Webpage to view those hours. Simply head directly to the correct Guest Relations location upon arrival. While it is not yet available, Disney is planning to launch a pre-arrival registration option for DAS this fall. While all of the details have not been released, this may allow you to skip Guest Relations altogether by applying for a DAS pass before your trip even begins.
The Guest Relations locations to apply for a DAS pass in each park are:
City Hall at Magic Kingdom
The Guest Relations lobby (near the Main Entrance) at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The Guest Relations lobby (near the Main Entrance) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Guest Relations lobby (near Spaceship Earth) at Epcot
I do want to be sure you are aware Beatrice, that typically Guests with mobility issues that require the use of a wheelchair or ECV do not need a DAS pass. For most attractions, wheelchairs and scooters can enter the traditional ride queue. For attractions that don’t accommodate a wheelchair or ECV, Guests will usually be given a return time similar to the current standby wait time.
I hope this helps with your planning. Stay tuned to that Theme Park Hours page for updates on park opening times!
Have a Magical Day!
