Hi there, Vanessa!
Welcome back, it's so nice to hear from you!
I was very excited to see that adult changing tables have been added to a couple of locations across Disney Parks. I'm sure that is a super valuable resource for families who need them! I reached out to the disability team at the Disneyland Resort and understand that adult changing tables are not installed anywhere in the parks yet. I hope that addition will come in the future! For now, guests who need
adult changing tables should visit
First Aid locations in either theme park where there are stationary cots available for that purpose.
I wish I had better news about the adult changing tables, but I do want to share that many of the accessibility guides on the Disneyland website have been updated and they are full of great information! The
Accessibility Planning Guide covers everything from navigating security to finding a quiet spot to take a break and the
Theme Park Guide Maps have great information, too. The best resource (in my opinion) is the
Sensory Experience Details Guide which tells guests exactly what attractions include sounds, lighting, smells, and other effects that might be uncomfortable for them. Such a good way to prepare for a new ride!
I'm sorry I didn't have better news for you today, Vanessa. I hope that your trip this week will be full of pixie dust and fun!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
