Hi Corrine!
It looks like you have a fun-filled Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon! May will be here before you know it, and I'm sure you're getting excited about your trip. It's great to have a Disney getaway to look forward to, isn't it? Spring is such a great time to visit, and the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom through May 27th, 2024!
In 2020, Walt Disney World theme parks established the
Theme Park Reservation system that required Guests to make reservations for specific theme parks they planned to visit. Guests could only make reservations with valid theme park admission. These advance reservations guaranteed admittance to the park for the date on which the reservation was made.
As of January 9th, 2024, date-based tickets, such as your 5-Day Theme Park Base Ticket, no longer require theme park reservations. Hooray! During the days your theme park tickets are valid, you can visit any one of Walt Disney World's four theme parks on any day that you choose:
- Magic Kingdom Park - the classic, iconic theme park where fairy tales come to life
- EPCOT - combining innovation, technology, and global culture, where the impossible becomes possible
- Disney's Hollywood Studios - have a "picture-perfect" day in a theme park dedicated to Disney stage and screen, or visit a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - have a wild time at this unique blend of a theme park and animal reserve - a celebration of nature and exploration
If you want to show up and just go where the day takes you, you can absolutely do it! Of course, I always encourage Guests to have some sort of plan in place to maximize their time in the theme parks. Don't forget to make plans for some amazing meals with
Advance Dining Reservations, which can be made up to 60 days before your arrival.
Now it's time to start counting down the days until your magical Walt Disney World vacation!
