I would love to help you in your quest for the perfect place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Choosing your resort hotel is a very important part of the planning as many parts of your vacation will work around this decision. I have stayed at both resorts, so I would love to offer you my opinions of both.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a fun and festive place to stay. It is pretty centrally located and being a moderate resort, it is a little lighter on the budget. One thing to consider is the transportation. Since it is quite spread out, there are multiple bus stops and this can make transportation times a bit longer. However, we have always had a delightful stay there.
Disney's Beach Club Resort happens to be a favorite of ours. I absolutely love the theming of a seaside escape. My kids deemed this their favorite pool a few trips back. Stormalong Bay is quite a phenomenal area. With the zero entry sand bottom pool, lazy river and water slide, we could have spent days at just this area. My husband and I love the wonderful restaurant options, such as Yachtsman Steakhouse and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Last, but certainly not least, the best reason, in my opinion, to choose this resort over the other is being able to walk to the International Gateway of Epcot. There is rarely a line, except right at park opening, and even then it is still shorter than the main entrance. No need to wait for transportation. If you don't feel like walking, there is a boat to and from that entrance, as well.
So, if your budget allows, I would highly recommend Disney's Beach Club Resort. You will not be disappointed. Rest assured, though, if the moderate resort is the one you choose, you are still going to have an enjoyable stay!
