    PLEASE HELP! Stayed at WL last yr, waste of $ 2 us: not in room much but DD6 loved pool slide. POP this yr 8/28-9/5..HOT so more time at hotel? Will POP be enough w/out slide? $600 more for 9 days. We'd rather not spend the extra $ but don't want regrets.

    I can understand where you're coming from! The extra amenities at the deluxe resorts are nice, but may not be worth the extra money if you aren't there enough to enjoy them.

    If you think you will be spending more time at your resort this year and your daughter likes pool slides you might want to consider looking into staying at a moderate resort. All of the moderate resorts have pool slides, and the price tag isn't quite as high as the Wilderness Lodge so that could be a real option for you. If you stay at either Port Orleans resort, you can use the main pools at both Riverside and the French Quarter which gives you two differently themed pools both with their own slides.
