Please help!! On our grandgathering 2 people will have had gastric bypass. We plan on getting the regular dinning plan. These 2 will only be eating a few spoons of food at a time. Can they share off our plate at sitdowns?Pay a kid's price at buffets OOP?

    Hello Denise,

I think everyone knows I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). It can be a big money saver for families. But the DDP is not for everyone.

I have friends who have undergone gastric bypass surgery, so I understand just how limited and how little they may be eating. Sometimes it may be better for Guests to pay for their meals individually rather than buying the DDP. Typically, the DDP is connected to your Magic Your Way vacation package and all Guests in your Resort Room must be on the DDP. But I would suggest calling your Magical Gatherings planning specialist at 407-934-7639 and tell them about your situation to see if there is any way they can help accommodate their two people in your party. I'm sure if there is anything they can do to assist, they will!

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
