Please help, Fab Moms (and Dad.) I am seriously concerned about dealing with post fireworks crowds in the MK. Is there a place where we could see the fireworks from outside the MK?

    Hi Christine,

Yes - you can see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom at any of the monorail resort beaches (Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Contemporary).  You can grab a snack and a good spot in the sand and watch the show.  You can also see the fireworks from the California Grille at the Contemporary if you "time" your reservation correctly.  This is a truly spectacular way to see the show, as the music is piped into the restaurant.

Another great spot for viewing the fireworks is right in front of the Walt Disney World Railroad station at the head of Main Street USA (closet to the entrance/exit of the park).  The view from here is great (the Castle will be directly in front of you at the end of Main Street), and you are basically at the exit, so as soon as the show ends, you can head out, ahead of the swarms of people throughout the park.

Wishes is a wonderful way to end a day at the Magic Kingdom.  It's unlike anything you've likely experienced before, and is far more than a simple fireworks display.  Have a great time!
