Margaret, hello and welcome to
planDisney!
I see that your trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth is right around the corner. I bet you are getting so excited! April is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. I think the temperature is just right!
Margaret, you can make your advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your check-in date. You are well within that timeframe so you can go ahead and start doing that at any time. There are two ways of making dining reservations - online or over the phone. If you'd like to call and have a Cast Member help you, the number is 407-WDW-DINE. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time each day. The earlier you can call during the day the better as wait times can get pretty high sometimes.
If you'd like to make dining reservations online, it's a pretty easy process. You'll first visit the
Walt Disney World website. Then, hover your cursor over the top navigation that says "Things To Do". This will open a drop-down menu and you'll want to select the option to "Make Reservations" under the dining tab. From there you can look for a specific restaurant if you have one in mind. However, if you are open to different options, my favorite way of doing it is to input the date, time and party size and see the options that are available to you. This can be a really fun way to try restaurants you wouldn't typically think of. You can do this for each day of your Walt Disney World vacation and make your selections from there.
Right now, my go-to restaurant is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. It's a great any time of the day meal but dinner of my favorite. I really do like every menu item I've ever had there but my favorite is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. So delicious! Even though it is geared more toward seafood, there really is something on the menu for everyone.
I hope this helps you make those advanced dining reservations. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Enjoy.
