Please help decided between Ohana Chacter breakfast and Chef Mickey's. Don't really care about how good the food is. I want my kids to have time with the characters. I really think the atmosphere will be prettier at Ohana.

    Hi Brandie,

My family has done both several times.  I have two children, ages 5 and 10, and they both absolutely love Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.  Dining with Mickey and the gang at Chef Mickey's is one of their "must dos" at Walt Disney World.

For that matter, I think I would pick Chef Mickey's over 'Ohana in the Polynesian myself.  Don't get me wrong, both are very nice.  My boys enjoyed having their picture taken with Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast.  The restaurant is nice and I think it is more relaxing than Chef Mickey's; it's definitely more quiet.

However, the atmosphere at Chef Mickey's can't be beat.  It is very exciting and there's a lot of energy in the room.  I think my children also enjoy going up to the buffet line and being able to pick what they want as opposed to having food delivered to the table, as it is at 'Ohana.

As I said, both are nice so if you think you would prefer breakfast at 'Ohana then I say go for it!

    Have a magical vacation!
