Hi Sherisse!
How thoughtful to plan a special evening (well, actually two of them!) for your parents' anniversary. I had an opportunity to dine at Victoria and Albert's with my husband a few years ago and thought it was wonderful! The food, atmosphere and service were impeccable to say the least, and I still have my souvenir menu!
For your larger family meal, I recommend trying a Signature Dining Experience. Some of my current favorites include:
- Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (this is my absolute favorite. The food is amazing and the wine list is incredible!)
- California Grille at the Contemporary - a well-timed meal here will allow you to enjoy Wishes at your table or on a lovely outdoor deck, where the music from the show is piped in.
- Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge - the entrees are unique and delicious, and the desserts are over the top!
Don't be hesitant to take your daughters to any of these restaurants. Despite the fact that you will be enjoying a fine dining experience, this is Disney, and each of them is very kid-friendly. In fact, my boys love the children's menus at the Signature Restaurants. Recently, they enjoyed a "chocolate puzzle" dessert, that they had to assemble and then "paint" with chocolate, raspberry and pineapple sauce. How cool is that? If you'd like a sneak peek at the menus at any of these or other signature restaurants, I'd recommend logging onto the independent website www.allears.net and select "dining" from the home page.
Have a wonderful evening out celebrating your parents milestone!
