Please, help me choose the water park. I have two girls (age: 1.5 y/o and 3.5 y/o). I saw so many reviews online and it looks like both parks are great, but i just can not understand which park has more activities for children that age. Thank you!

    Hello again Alexandra,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question! I totally understand your dilemma. When I was trying to choose between Walt Disney World Resort’s Water Parks for my son’s first visit to a water park when he was 2 years old, I was really torn between Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Although I don’t think that you can go wrong with either Water Park, we ultimately went to Blizzard Beach and I was thrilled with my choice. Having now visited them both, I feel that Tike’s Peak is a better choice for babies and younger preschoolers than Ketchakiddee Creek at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Tike’s Peak has tons of sand, slides that were tailored to his swimming (okay, fine, splashing!) skill level and a splash area that my little guy just loved. I also loved how “contained” the area seemed to be. I never felt like I was going to lose sight of my son, in spite of how busy the Water Park got. Plus, there were lots of shady spots for us to set up camp when he needed to get out of the sun a little bit.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
