Hi there, can you please help me book a luxury hotel for 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids (15,13,11)) which are connected to the Disney World Resort affiliate program. We require a hotel which allows us to book Lightnight Pass 7 days prior. Thank you. Wade

Hi Wade. Thank you for coming to planDisney with your Walt Disney World vacation planning question!

Planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is exciting, and I’m happy to assist you in finding accommodations that fit your family’s needs. Here at planDisney, we’re passionate about sharing our personal tips and insights to help Guests plan their Disney vacations. While we cannot book vacations, I’m happy to help guide you with suggestions that can serve as a starting point. Once you’ve narrowed your preferences, I recommend contacting a local travel agent to finalize your arrangements.

The Disney Resorts Collection features a variety of hotel categories designed to accommodate different preferences and budgets: Value, Moderate, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villa. Each category offers its own version of luxury. Value resorts provide fun, vibrant theming and family-friendly accommodations at an accessible price point. Moderate resorts offer slightly larger rooms, immersive atmospheres, and added amenities, while Deluxe resorts truly elevate your experience with elegant accommodations, prime locations, and premium services. Deluxe Villas provide the ultimate comfort and convenience with spacious multi-bedroom options that feel like a home away from home.

For your family of five, I have a few suggestions. In the Value category, consider the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. These suites provide separate living and sleeping areas, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and Disney-theming inspired by favorites like The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo. While these are perfect for families with younger children, they may not be the best fit for older kids based on their preferences.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort stands out in the Moderate category for its tropical ambiance and relaxed island vibes. The rooms here are a bit larger than those in the Value resorts, and the resort’s connection to the Disney Skyliner provides quick and scenic access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The combination of the resort’s lush surroundings and convenient transportation feels luxurious.

If you’re looking for the pinnacle of Disney luxury, consider the Deluxe Resorts. My personal favorite is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. With its Victorian-inspired elegance, stunning lobby, and world-class dining options, this resort is the definition of sophistication. Its proximity to Magic Kingdom via the iconic monorail or a picturesque walking path adds a layer of convenience. Enjoy the Happily Ever After fireworks from Gasparilla Island Grill’s outdoor seating area or your table at Narcoossee’s for a truly unforgettable evening. Another favorite is Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. This New England-style resort offers a refined and relaxed atmosphere and the convenience of being within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

For the ultimate in luxury, consider staying in a Deluxe Villa. Many Deluxe resorts offer Villa accommodations with options for 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom suites. These villas have full kitchens, in-suite washers and dryers, and separate living and sleeping areas, offering space perfect for larger families.

I hope these suggestions help point you in the right direction for planning your stay. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.

    See you real soon!
