Please Help!!! Arriving on my 40th Bday. Flight lands close to 2pm, by the time I check in to my hotel it will be close to 3pm if not later. I am having trouble deciding about which event to see on that day. MK fireworks, Epcot Fireworks or HBD/ Fantasmic.

    Hi Tina!!!

Happy Early Birthday!!!  Spending your birthday at Walt Disney World is such a magical experience!!  I was able to spend my past birthday there and I am anxiously awaiting being able to spend our son's birthday there for the first time!!!

Any of the three choices you inquired about would be awesome ways to spend your birthday and first evening at Walt Disney World!!  I am a firm believer in not starting out your trip tired.  Since you are flying in after lunch I would recommend either doing the 9:00pm Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot or the 9:00pm Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Wishes Fireworks isn't until 10:00pm that evening at the Magic Kingdom.

By doing the 9:00pm show at Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you could potentially get in early that evening (if you desired to.)  Illuminations will obviously be the easier of the two to view without having to wait in line or arrive 45 minutes prior to the show.  You would need to arrive at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater at least 45 minutes prior to Fantasmic!   You definitely won't go wrong with either!!

I hope this has helped you decide where you are heading first!!  Sending some extra Pixie Dust your way for a very magical 40th birthday!!

    Have a magical trip!!
