Please help! I have already reserved our resort plus reserved our dining but now my mother will join us. Can I just add her to my room as an extra guest & as for dining can she join us & pay her dinner separetly with cash?

    Hi Genalyn!

How great to hear that your mother is now able to join you on your Magical trip to Walt Disney World!

A simple call to Disney Vacation Package Booking (407) 939-7675 with your resort confirmation number handy will be all it takes to have your mother added to your room reservation. If you're on a Disney Dining Plan, the plan as well as park tickets will be added as well and you'll be advised of the new balance due on your file.

As far as dining plans go, you'll want to call Disney Dining at (407) 939-3463 and advise a Cast Member there that you've had an addition to your travel party. They'll go through your Advance Dining Reservations with you and make the necessary changes based on current availability.

Alternatively, if availability is scarce to make changes, you can wait until arrival at each restaurant podium for your dining reservation, and advise the Cast Member there that you've had an addition to your party and your new 'total party' number. I'd definitely recommend that you choose this route only if you have little luck making changes in advance with the assistance of a Disney Dining Cast Member over the phone.

Wishing you a Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Genalyn!
