Kevin from PA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can you please give me a reservation for the disney campground for a 50 amp service and a 38 foot rv for any ten consecutive days using dvc points in september, october, or november?

Hi Kevin and welcome back to planDisney! The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is a great place to park the ol’ RV and experience both the magic of Walt Disney World and the rustic and serene vibes of the campground. Fort Wilderness has some of the best running trails at Walt Disney World and our family loves roasting marshmallows at Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. If you’re headed there in late October, you’ll be in for a (trick-or-) treat! Your fellow campers love to decorate their campsites and cabins with Halloween decor and show off their golf carts during the Halloween Golf Cart Parade!

I’ve got some great news for you, Kevin. You can exchange your Disney Vacation Club points to book a Fort Wilderness campsite (subject to availability). While the Full Hook-Up campsites can accommodate both an RV and a tent, it may be best to book a Premium Meadow campsite as those accommodate larger style RVs. Both Full Hook-Up and Premium Meadow campsites also come equipped with 220V/50amp service. Make sure to request the specific hook-up you’ll need as Fort Wilderness offers a variety of hook-up options. You can also view the point charts for the two types of campsites for Fall dates on page 3 of this document.

In order to complete the booking, you would have to call Member Services. A couple things to take note of when exchanging DVC points towards the Disney Collection. First, a non-refundable transaction fee (currently $95) may be applied for booking these types of accommodations. In addition, the Rule of Four guidelines apply to these types of reservations, meaning that reservations must be made prior to the last 4 months of your Use Year for stays during that Use Year. Finally, only DVC points eligible for Membership Extras (DVC ownership interests purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, LLC) may be used to exchange into the Disney Collection. As long as you meet these conditions, you should be able to book a Fort Wilderness campsite with your DVC points.

One bonus tip you may want to consider is taking advantage of Membership Magic Beyond. Besides waiving transaction fees for exchange reservations, you’ll get priority access to the member lounges, specially priced theme park tickets, and a 30-day Memory Maker entitlement, among other great benefits. The benefits from this optional add-on package to your DVC membership lasts until the end of December 2026.

Kevin, I hope this information was helpful and hope you enjoy your stay at Fort Wilderness. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and my friends here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
